After market trailer hitch 2022 ES 300

Anyone know an after market hitch for a ‘22 ES 300? I have a double wave runner trailer that I need to move around.

The manual clearly states that this car is not designed to tow anything.

I personally would not attempt.

There is an existing thread illustrating how one owner mounted a Curt light-duty 1-1/4" hitch rated for only about 200 pounds. Use Search to find it.

The statement by toyotaman7 about the car not being approved or rated for any hitch at all is correct, so proceed at your own risk.

Obstacles: Our cars are very softly sprung in the back, the hybrid is less powerful for that duty, the installation involves considerable cutting, and if your car is a Luxury or Ultra Luxury, the ride-improving Yamaha Performance Damper in the back of the chassis would have to be sacrificed as well.
