I知 looking for some Aftermarket Rotors and brakes mostly. Hard to find modifications for the car.

You might look for parts spec'd for the Avalon TRD, which has a lot of parts interchangeability with your car.

Wouldn't the F-sport brakes be the same as the TRD Avalon brakes? Same car underneath??

Nope. F Sport brakes are the same brakes as on your hybrid, which are the same as ES350 and camry for that matter, IIRC.

The TRD Avalon uses Highlander brakes which are bigger.

so i wouldn't go aftermarket on this. if you're ultra serious about needing stronger brakes, you can go TRD Avalon/TRD Camry/Highlander. the highlander will probably be easiest to source used at this point. been a while since i looked at this.

Hey So jumping on this thread, but if I wanted stronger brakes on my ES350 base, can I just use TRD Camry brake pads and rotors or are they not the same size? And if they aren't, which car can I use to source better rotors and pads for my ES350 base?

I'm just curious - are you not finding the brakes on your base ES satisfactory?

It痴 already heavy steel suspension and hubs, bigger rotors are just going to make the car even slower with worse handling.

Yes, so I've already got brake warp from overheating rotors, and that's kind of due to the areas I drive in (lots of highway speeds to stop and go from traffic etc). The braking distance/power is not the issue for me, its more so its longevity. I'd rather have the same size rotors pads etc, but just with a bit of improvement for heat dissipation etc, like slotted rotors, better brake pad material etc. Hence I'm just looking for replacement rotors and pads that can satisfy these conditions. As much as I would like to go all out and throw on some 6 piston brembos, I think that's a bit overkill for the type of car.

I've had similar experience with the ES brakes. Replaced the OEMs at around 50K miles but they were vibrating long before that - the replacement parts must have been junk and those were just replaced again at 65K miles but they were covered under warranty and they appear to be a much higher quality set of pads and rotors - how do I know that? I had a colleague who is a mechanic pull the wheels after the job was done and he confirmed. Good luck.

Were the replacements OEM also or were they aftermarket? And when you say they were covered under warranty, I'm assuming your referring to the warranty for the pads and rotors themselves and not the car's warranty right? Just wanted to clarify.

Covered by warranty of the independent installler. My car is fsr out of the Lexus b2b warranty. And no they don't appear to be oem parts.
