I don't know - I change my mind by the hour. Maybe it's an indication that I'm not really ready to buy yet.

Your money buy anything you want
( these forums are for helping people )
if not in a rush get the ultra luxury ( if you can find it in your color combo)
The led headlights on the 22 and up is worth every penny..(must have option and 360 view)
the signal lights is so evil looking with the hazards lights on..
other options I don’t care much for but I have it.

heated wipers oh yeah.!!

19 f sport bends (my bro car)my 18 are great .!!! So far

if want more comfortable get the 17..

almost got the ls500 used thank you Buddha
I didn’t ..

Another incorrect assumption. And I bought my wife a 350 f sport to go along with my hybrid. And don’t pretend your earlier comment wasn’t a jab.

There are various reasons someone would get the hybrid over the V6 and fuel economy is just one of them.

I don't think anyone has mentioned lower emissions from the hybrid, which I believe was the original motivation for Toyota to manufacture one.

How about a turbo 4 with plug-in hybrid connected to a traditional stepped automatic transmission? 325hp. We'll call it the ES450h+ F Sport.

There you go - sign me up I'll drive my current ES until 100K but then I'll be ready to make a move.

Just got back from the Lexus dealer. Took a good test drive of the 300h on both back roads and the interstate. I have satisfied myself that there is more than enough power for my needs both merging from the ramp as well as passing. Going with the hybrid and will hopefully pay off the difference with gas savings in 2-3years.

Ugh no. Have you seen the transmission and turbo complaints with recent Toyo-Lex vehicles? We have a RAV4 Prime with the same A25A and PHEV and AWD. It's absolutely perfect. Smooth, gobs of power 302hp but the torque, efficient, etc. That's the powertrain I want in an ES. Call it a fancy Camry Prime or whatever ES number game you want but please no regular transmission ever and no turbo ;-)

That's true the new NX and RX seemingly have lots of complaints. But to be fair so does the new NX350 and 250 if i'm not mistaken. We will see if Toyota can fix them. It seems Toyota is maxed out with the highlander and ES in terms of the power it provides for the e-cvt setup. seems like if you go higher in power, you need a traditional transmission. enter Honda and Hyundai which seem to do it flawlessly.

The hybrid powertrain not only is smoother, more reliable and economical but technology is at least 10 years ahead of the V6 which will be archaic by 2033.

It's pretty smooth. As long as you don't crank on it for too long. lol. Thankfully the nature of the ES doesn't really beg for too much crank.

There's basically no wrong choice there; based on your needs. I got a 300h Luxury myself 4 days ago. The power is nowhere near the 350, but is no slouch either (at least in sport mode).

I really like the quietness when starting / slow driving around city. For me the gas savings is a bonus and was not factored in my decision.

I drive 100 miles a day 99% stop and go
I need fill up every 5 days with still alittle above the last line on the fuel picture thing.

I got this car for the mpg only !!!

I thought it was gonna be a slow car but this car when it needs power from a stoplight it goes.. ( I got that understanding from reading forums like this before buying the car)
don’t understand where everyone is saying that the 300h is slow cause I be cutting ppl off when needed on the streets and highway

highways are beautiful and just as fast and super quiet ( I live in nyc Brooklyn and the roads are like crap but once I close my windows with the acoustic glass I don’t hear nothing)
don’t ask about mark leversion cause I actually listen on my AirPods since I work Thur my phones

my little bro has the same car but f sport and he is complaining about gas and more visits at the pump and he drives %80 less

I wouldn’t know the difference btw the two cars with speed and pickup but I do realize his f sport is much louder than mine at a red light
( I prefer quiet and this car is like is super quiet)

the battery I’m not concerned cause it’s a Lexus Toyota and it’s there been doing it for decades so if it goes wrong after oem warranty hey it’s better then the previous Germans cars I owned for repair bills out of pocket

I wan to keep this car at least 10 plus years

and always gonna buy a hybrid in the future not into that plug in thingy.
fill up and go

with my brother and me he wished he got my car instead but it’s to late for that

also when at a light it’s all hybrid press the gas lighty it’s all battery and with the air conditioner on

so bottom line to me there no difference in performance just mine is more quiet better mpg but it’s alittle more for the hybrid
plus I got 18 he got 19 wheels

i can get more mpg but my heavy footed !!

any more questions please let me know
cause drive both cars since I live with my little bro..
I am pretty certain that your "Mark Leversion" is a knock-off. Mark Levinson does sound quite nice though
