A lot of extremely wealthy people I know lease their cars so it’s not like leasing is just for aspirational buys, nothing wrong with a lease if you already know you’re likely to change cars in a couple years plus there can be tax benefits. Sometimes I keep a car for a long time, sometimes I dump it in a year so purchasing makes sense for me and sometimes I finance sometimes I just write a check.

$750 isn't bad at all especially factoring in NO gas... no maintenance... no brakes. actually it's extremely good!

Exactly. Neither a lease nor an EV is personally for me, but it's a cold fact that lessees don't have to worry about battery replacements.

Oh, don't get ahead of yourself"I never said that! My first experience at a charging station was enlightening and frustrating. I couldn't understand why my charging speed showed hours instead of 30 minutes. This was from 10% to 80%. It turned out that the 350 kW chargers were only registering at 39 kW. I tried 8 of them, and the remaining customers tried the others. All were slow as SH&T, and other people tried other chargers as well. Apparently, this issue is common there. I'll be glad when my home charging gets installed in a few days. I won't have to travel an hour round trip and spend 3 hours."
