Default Parking Brake Malfunction

Outta the blue I get this message, planning on taking it to the dealer but wanted to know if anyone had any prior experience.

You bet, this is a quite common issue actually:

Try operating the park brake a couple of times. If the message persists after a few drives also talk to the dealership.

I don't think your search link is working as you intended. For me it results in "Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms."

I updated with actual links, I was searching this sub-forum for "Parking Brake Malfunction", and apparently every time you search for something, system will give you an ID for the results, but it will expire in no time LOL (instead of using query string, for security reason, some IT/HTML PHP BS )

p/s: this happened to me ~2 years ago, 1 month sitting in dealership (because of waiting for parts from oversea in middle of COVID), they fixed under warranty...

To prevent is it suggested to use the PB often, or rarely?

So when refilling gas last Thursday noticed that the gas cap was in locked in and the check engine light and that message cleared about 120 miles of driving between now and then. Turns out that was the culprit as that cause an evap leak

Default Was the problem resolved?

I had the same codes appear on yesterday. I took it to my local mechanic and he suggested a new throttle body. Remind you this happened at the gas station right after I filled up. 2021 ES 350 F Sport with 60k miles. What did you have to do? Are there anyone who experienced this? If so, what was the fix?
