New Gen Camry is All Hybrid

No new-Gen Camry models will have non-hybrid engines. I prefer ordinary, non-hybrid internal combustion like my 2021 ES 350. Does this suggest the 2025 Lexus ES will follow suit? If so, I may panic and buy a “left over” 2024 model in winter 2025 and be set for the rest of my life.

So if that's what floats your boat (as it does mine), yes, you'll want a '24. But if so, I wouldn't wait for the "leftovers"—there's a pretty good chance this will be a shortened production year to leave downtime to gear up for the '25's. Better to move early and get the color and equipment of your choice. The whole point is that you'll be living with the result for a long time. Make sure it's what you want.

Good thoughts. Appreciate them.
Other option for me is simply to keep my 2021 ES 350. Perfect shape with only 12,000 miles on it. With an Lexus, that’s almost just as good as a new one. Should be a reliable and comfortable car for a lots of years. So, we’ll see…

There are not going to be any V6 or V8 engines in Lexus going forward, the ones that are left will be phased out. If you want a Lexus with the nice engines buy while you can.

Maybe they'll save the V6 to differentiate the ES from the Camry - perhaps wishful thinking.

And a new Crown crossover to replace the discontinued Venza:

It's important to know that at this point no one knows what the future holds. That includes members of this forum. Conjecture is good but it's only conjecture and not definitive. No one knows what engine the ES350 will have in the next generation of cars.. A V6 or a 4 banger hybrid. And Toyota hasn't made any definitive statements as to what direction they're headed. Give Akio a call and maybe he'll let you in on it... ![Dunno](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/13879dunno.gif)

Hybrids are ICE at heart. Don't see the problem. The only issue is Toyota and Lexus keeps on stamping out cheapo 4 cylinder hybrids, which has nothing on the 3.5L hybrids going 10+ years back starting on the RX450h, GS450h, LC500h and the V8 hybrids on the LS600h and Toyota Century.
So I'm hoping the new Lexus ES 350 will be offered with a conventional V-6 gasoline engine like the one in my wonderful 2102---which I'll probably simply wind up keeping for the duration of my driving lifetime.

Problem is I don't like hybrids. I drive 5,000 mi./year and don't need to incur the extra cost of producing cars with hybrid engines. I don't like the feel of them or the total quietness..

I think that the V6 engine in the current ES350 is one of the best engines Toyota has produced. Hopefully they'll continue to offer it in the 350's maybe as an option... Who knows??? Seems to me that Toyota is hedging their bets on EV's and continuing to offer a selection of ICE cars. For me, the price of gasoline is not an issue. I'd buy my car again if it was a V8...
