Simple, uncomplicated serenity and uncompromised luxury at a reasonable price=ES 350. I bought a well equipped new one in 2021and will have nothing else but this model and its succeeding versions for the rest of my life (providing they don’t screw up a good thing by changing it too much in the years ahead!) Totally reliable as well.
I prefer to keep things simple and uncomplicated. That’s the V-6 350 ES. Totally tried and true. All things considered the best bet on the market today in its genre and price point.

DocEnuf, I couldn’t agree mote with ATL350 and LexFinally’s thoughts about the F Sport model … stiffer ride without any handling or performance enhancement. Not to mention that the 7th generation ES handles much better than any previous generation. I’d like to offer one other item to your consideration list, that is both the Luxury and UL trim levels have what Lexus calls “ performance dampeners”. I have a 2024 350 UL and I can attest to the fact that they make an already smooth car even smoother. And, if you can find a Luxury model with a heads up display I think you’ll find it to be a great feature. Like the first time you got headed / cooled seat in a car … you wouldn’t get another car without them. Same goes for the heads up display … once you have it you’ll want it in all your cars. UL models come standard with a heads up. Good luck with your search.

To each their own but I don't understand why people love these low profile tires.
They look like someone stuck a rubber band on a rim and ride like it.
Pretty soon the the factory is going to be installing wagon wheels.

I hear you on the rubber band type low profs but the 19s on the ES are nothing like that. They just fill the wheel well better and add a look I happen to prefer.

For those of you discounting the F Sport, have you ever owned one or are you basing your opinions solely off a drive or ride?

Some folks find the seats very uncomfortable. I get that - they were a non starter back in 2017 for my wife and I (avg sized folks we are) when we bought our RX. Much different though in the ES. I find them more comfortable than the base seats.

Must haves are V6, and prefer White, Atomic Silver, maybe red, and light colored interior since I now live at the coast and it's always Hot and Sunny.
Any pros and cons I should know about?
Do the ES 350 F sport have tan interior option? I have not found any in my search. mostly red interior.
Thanks in advance for your replies and enlightenment. Sorry for being a newbie, but I am a quick learner.

I recently purchased the ES350 Ultra Luxury but was going back and forth between that model and one of the F-Sport models, primarily because I preferred the wheels and the grill they come with. Ultimately comfort and Luxury won out over sporty look, and I really wanted the Panoramic moonroof... Additionally the Luxury and Ultra Luxury obviously have a much smoother ride...

Right I get it, different strokes for different folks.

Today a car in front of me was doing wild S shaped swerves like a crazy person.
I then realized he had low profile tires and was trying to dodge sewer caps.

Well once you actually own one it's kinda too late to go the other way... ;0) But I really grappled with the decision. For me it came down to several features the F- Sport handling didn't have, like the panoramic moonroof... But to be hones, both are great cars IMHO...

I have a 22 F Sport. I bought it for the aesthetics, adaptive variable suspension, sport + drive mode, 19” wheels and bucket seats. I also like the look of the Ultra Luxury and would have gotten one if a more plush ride was what I was after. If you care more about the things I mentioned that I like, then you may want to consider an F Sport. If you care more about a luxurious ride or a panoramic roof, then the Ultra Luxury may be a better option.

I think I stated this previously in this thread but my “toy” is a 2021 Corvette. I have the Mag Ride suspension - which Ferrari bought a license to use - but opted out of the Z51 track option because I knew I would never use it on the street and I don’t track the car.

I used the same logic with my purchase of the F Sport. I can be in one of the Sport modes, push a button, and I am driving a luxury sedan the suspension is so good. The 19” wheels don’t make the drive any worse for me.

I think every Lexus ES 350 model has its plusses and minuses but it’s up to the buyer to decide what’s important.

I agree with your summary 100%... I tend to lean more towards the "sport" in sports sedan... Previous car was BMW 535i with the M-Sport package... Loved the way it handled, but with the obligatory run flat tires, there was no comfort in the ride AT ALL... So I went towards the luxury side this time... But was a tough decision...
