I will say it's a good time to get a good deal on an Audi. Relatively speaking, they've got cars stacked up to the rafters.

Which brands don't for non hybrids? The highway i drive on my daily commute has just about every mfr represented. The lots are overflowing with new inventory. Im toying with replacing my wife's 2017 RX (don't tell her&#128521. The dealer near me is advertising some at about 8%off msrp so think about the deal you can strike when ready.

There absolutely are differences in dealer inventory levels between makes. The stats I've seen this month suggest there's very limited inventory of vehicles from Toyota, Lexus, Honda, Kia and Subaru, and over a year's backlog of several Chrysler/Stellantis models. Here's just one source that details it. https://caredge.com/guides/new-car-i...most-and-least

Toyota and Lexus - hmmmm - the two dealers near me have a combined 700 new units in inventory. Seems pretty limited - perhaps if you're shopping for an LC500.

I can't say what's happening this week on your street, but here are the December numbers (the most recent I can find) nationwide.

It ain't my street my friend. It's a major freeway through a highly poulated county that has every mfr along the way. Toyota may have fewer days coverage compared to Dodge but what do you expect. Dealer lots are full. PERIOD. I even noticed they're discounting ES hybrids in stock.

My dealer has 573 new Lexus, 75 of which are 350 ES. That’s a lot of cars to pick from!

Default When will we know specifics of 2025 MY

In terms of planning whether to buy a 2024 or wait another year, when would we get specifics on what MY 2025 will offer? I’m thinking even reliable industry information if not the official reveal by Lexus/Toyota.

That, my friend, is the $64,000 question. Many people, including me, have our car buying plans on hold for that big moment.
My very uneducated guess is October 2024 but who knows. Might not even be until MY 2026.

It is more probable for 2025 but 2026 is still in play. Think the new RX was announced 8 mths before available. There are several factors Lexus considers before announcements. It will be interesting to see all the new tech involved. We live in a very interesting time with all the new innovations. Just like the new samsung phone S24 using AI like live translate.

SF Bay Area Lexus dealers have inventories in the 200-250 range, although, I failed to see evidence of this while visiting lots. Of the few available 300h's, none are the colors/trim we want, but, across the midwest, south and east of the country, I found many, most at discounted prices! My conclusion is Lexus needs to do a better job of distributing new vehicles to where the demand is. We Californians love our hybrids!

Which is exactly why I have my eye on buying the last 2024 made. This old guy can barely cope with the technology in his 2021 ES 350!!
Hope they keep the AM radio! Read that some car companies want to let it go.

I have a 2024 UL on order because I know for a fact that the new models will not have the old reliable V6. They will go will turbo 4's and hybrids. Nothing wrong with those except that they add some complexity and turbos are definitely not going to be as long term reliable. The 2024 has plenty of tech on it.

I have the RX350h and it's not close to comparison to the ES350 2023 I have. The RX just doesn't have the power. it's not a pleasant drive. For all those that say that the RX has enough power to get you through are doing a disservice or have not driven the es350.
If you need to overtake and get in front of another car, forget it with an RX. During my test drive of the 2022 RX 350, it had a lot more power than the current gen.

Although I dislike Audi's only due to the lack of long-term reliability, however in the short term of a pleasureful drive, they are the best and then comes the 6 cyl Lexus's. I feel at some point I'm gonna sell the RX 350h and get back into an Audi. The Lexus folks can keep their love for their superior interiors and the lowest quality drive experience.

You're comparing the RX hybrid to an ES V6? I mean of course it's a different experience.
