Bought new and 25k miles later, the shifter and seats still look brand new. I wish the soft touch material on the doors and on the dash were able to withstand more as even my sunshade has managed to scratch those areas, specifically by the glovebox.

Worse than mine before painting.

I know that you shouldn't have to resort to this but that long dash panel that runs from above the flip open cup holder all the way to the right and close to the right passenger side vent just pops off and can be replaced for $100.00

Wow that's nowhere near as much as I thought it would be. Is that for a brand new part?

I'm nowhere close to even thinking about replacing it, but the fact it has some scuff marks is annoying.

Yes, it is annoying. I bought my car used so I'm just trying to make it newest to me as possible and it really doesn't need much. That dash panel on mine is in pretty good shape. Doesn't really need replacing but it would be nice to be new.... I just checked the price again and apparently it went up in price since I last checked about 2 months ago...

I had a lot of scufs on that panel. I bought a can of paint from classicdye and now it looks like new.

Do you think that paint would also match the door panel? Lower door panel where your feet would kick the panel area when exiting the vehicle.

Yes, that is the page. You have to be careful what colour you need.
The paint can be dried with the hair dryer. You apply the first layer, dry with the drier, after 3-4 minutes apply the second layer, dry...
7-8 layers are enough.
Before you apply the first layer, you need to clean the surface with their prep liquid.

Got it, thanks! I just watched their application video. I'll be ordering for my Es and GMC Seirra. Thanks again.

I found on Ali these shifters but I am not sure about the precision and quality.
