Zero oil consumption on my 2020 ES350 UL with 30K miles. I do however have my oil changed every 6 months or 5K miles regardless.

No difference at all from how I understand the problem. Oil consumption is usually caused by a stuck oil ring due to sludge buildup caused by not changing the oil soon enough. When I say soon enough, I mean by exceeding the recommended Toyota oil change intervals.

at the end of the day, your consumption figure is too high. There should be no top up required between oil change intervals.

the “acceptable” limits are written by accountants and lawyers at Toyota and not engineers.

Burning oil can foul your spark plugs, leading to engine misfires. Plus, it can damage your catalytic converter and oxygen sensors over time. This is all after your warranty expires.

Will continue to monitor my oil levels very carefully and frequently,, especially considering your above explanations and admonitions. Thank you.
