Default Anyone swap out floor liners for carpeted mats

Not sure I like the floor liners that came with my ES. Has anyone replaced those with OEM carpeted mats? Thoughts?

Thanks.

The carpeted mats provide a more plush feel for the feet and look nicer. That being said I use floor liners and my mats are in the shed.

I agree with the look. Also, my foot slides when I enter and exist the car.

Kind of annoying.
I might get the carpet mats for three seasons and swap for winter?

That sounds like a plan.

Thank you.

I have Lloyd’s translucent mats over the carpet floor mats. Sort of a compromise. Original carpet mats alone in the back, where no one ever sits.

Changed out the liners with the carpet mats as soon as I got home from the dealer.

I agree with you. Likely going to upgrade to Lloyds the OEM version is flimsy IMO.

NX and RX but replaced all weather mats with Lexus carpet mats. Softer on feet, look better and easier to vacuum.

I replaced the OEM mats in my 22 ES350UL with Lloyd mats. Most OEM mats are not very thin and cheap feeling, even in higher end cars. The Lloyd mats are much thicker and plusher, and the fit is much better as they cut their mats a bit larger to better fit the space, giving a much more tailored appearance.

My dealer installed the Lexus all weather floor liners and put the Lexus carpeted mats, still in the plastic, in my trunk. I had floor liners in the Chevy Silverado 2500HD that I sold recently and they were so much easier to keep clean vs vacuuming carpeted floor mats that I put the Lexus carpeted mats, still in their plastic, on a shelf in my garage. I used to buy Lloyd's mats for all of my sports cars but the logos on them were impossible to clean once they got something on them. No more.

Lexus all weather mat in my driver seat for durability, dirt/mud/water containment and ease of cleaning - Lexus carpet mat in the passenger seat for the aesthetic from my point of view. I rarely have passengers so it almost is always clean.

I prefer the tub liners - I have my OEM FSport carpeted mats in the basement.

I can see what you’re saying about the logos but mine don’t have them apparently because Toyota won’t license it to them, so no branding on Lexus mats.

On the Lloyd's mat, make sure to get color swatches BEFORE you order as their Black and the Toyota/Lexus Blacks are different colors.
