Default Dashboard Lights Going Crazy

Hi All,

Today, the dashboard lights on my '19 Lexus ES F Sport all started going off.

The car is running fine otherwise.

only thing i noticed when i popped the hood was heavy corrosion on the red battery terminal.

Could the lights be a result of the battery?

Thanks.

"Could the lights be a result of the battery?"
Yes.
But it "could" be other things as well.
Have you cleaned off the corrosion? That's easy enough to do, and "could" fix the problem, but either way, it will surely answer you initial question.

Original battery in your 19? If so, it's time to change whether or not this is the cause of the Xmas tree.

Toyotas are especially known to do things like this when the battery gets low. As each computer module detects low voltage, each can trigger a different warning light.

Its a possible simple fix. Disconnect only the negative on your battery for 2 mins and plug it back up. You will be back to normal. Let us know if this worked.

Can you read the codes? I don't think this is because of the battery.
You will not see these lights if you can start the car, that means there's enough power to crank the engine.

I think a lot of cars are. BMWs are very notorious for throwing warnings after bad connection or low voltage as well.

Oh God yes! My old 550i dash would light up like a Christmas tree if the wind blew in the wrong direction LOL

Car is still in the shop, they can't figure it out.

Theyve replaced battery and ECM so far.

They're replacing wiring harnesses today. Luckily, under warranty.
