I have Lexus es 350, just scratched my car, I have some dents. Also the car handle popped off. How much do you think it will take to fix it?

Ideally find a used door the quarter panel is a fairly minor repair in a relative sense. Cost will vary greatly depending on if the door is replaced with new which means paint. I'll say $2,500-$7,000.

That's a bit more severe than what I would call a scratch. Unfortunately it's going to be expensive enough to make an insurance claim worthwhile.

Yep, rear panel would have to be cut and welded back with a new piece.

I would say that's more than just a scratch. Good luck.

dumb question but suppose the rear fender wasn't damaged, wouldn't it be "better" to try and find a good condition door from a junk yard than making a claim? Assuming the cost of a used door is about the same price as the deductible.

When you get is repaired, you may want to pay extra to have the whole side of the car front to back repainted so they can blend/match. Otherwise the new door paint will most likely not match.

Yep - it's a tricolor - eminent white makes it a bit more challenging. I hope the garage door is okay
