pretty we sure we know by now that this is the new ES, you can see the door hand is the E latch found on the NX, RX, TX. Also side window is also different.
if the 2025 model ends up being a carry over before this one is out, I’m sure they’ll give it 12 MID and maybe standard 12 inch screen. Triple beam standard on F sport and Luxury package just like the 2025 NX.

Yeah we can use the new Camry "update" as a template. Essentially the same doors/same side profile, with a tweaked rear door/rear quarter glass area. Then new front and rear ends. The rear likely to receive the unibrow treatment. Hopefully it's executed nicely. And nice catch on using the NX door handles. I'd prefer the original door handles of the 7ES. These ones don't flow correctly in the above teaser photo.
And the preview I posted is just to have a sense or idea of how the car would look with some color. The front end largely resembles Toyota's own photo above. So aside from some final details in trim/grill etc, that can be an idea of the general car to expect because its based off Toyota's photo.
Toyota and many other car companies are investing in dedicated EV platforms & crossovers/SUVs. So I don't see them building an entirely new platform for "next gen" cars. That would be a big risk. So they're giving you the same car as last generation but with tweaked front and rears--essentially what you'd get in traditional mid-life cycle refreshes + a new interior. (and new rear door glass and possibly new back window) very low investment/tooling compared to an all new car. Same they did with the IS. The IS, an already slow seller compared to its competition, would've been very expensive to roll the dice on an all new platform. So they re-skinned it and called it "all new."

Also I think one reason for the extra glass piece in the rear door is because the rear door and/or rear greenhouse is being lengthened and/or extended and the glass can't be too wide or it would stop much earlier than it does now when rolled down. that's why you need that extra glass to compensate. you usually see it on cars with larger rear doors/or extended greenhouse. because if the glass is too wide, it will stop earlier due to the wheel arch area.

Some images here I'd not yet seen. Love those FSport wheels - they look quite similar to the current RX 21s. Rear end also very similar with the light bar and LEXUS spelled out.

I like what they did to the rear end (the light bar and the bumper vents) but the front end is a bit weird to me but I'm used to the big grille though too (and like it especially on the F-Sport).
For some reason, it reminds me of a Toyota Crown but it might just be the angles that it was rendered at (and I might just be nuts too..............Who knows
