Default FitcamX and Warranty

Just drove home new 2024 ES350. Need to add a dash cam.

Found the Fitcamx dash cam for ES 350. Its website says it does not affect warranty.

Just want to double check. Does anyone here have any experience with this dash cam or similar product?

It uses power from the ACC system and requires replacing the cover after the back mirror.

I hate the idea to place a cable all around the windshield and car interior.

Have one and it's super easy to install. Not 100% sure, but don't think it would void any warranty, especially if it has nothing to do with any of the electronics. IF you're that worried, just keep the OEM cover and remove the dashcam when getting it serviced.

dash cam is 100% fine. Things would only pose an issue if you go in for something wrong and they discover the problem is from what you installed.
