If one replaces their blades with aftermarket rather than the OEM inserts, I recommend keeping the OEM blades and labeling them for future reference in case the aftermarket blades don't work well. I've tried aftermarket in the past on multiple Lexus/Toyota vehicles. Over time, they didn't work as well as OEM, so I bought new refill inserts and went back to stock.

After hearing these thread testimonials for Trico and Bosch, I might try aftermarket again as they are less expensive and readily available. Hope springs eternal!

I've used Trico and Bosch before on other cars, but I've had excellent luck with PIAA Super Silicone blades and refills. Very durable.

Stick with OEM inserts.
