Default New to Lexus. Can't figure out Bluetooth contact options

New to Lexus and purchased the ES350. I've paired my Android to the car, however, I do not want all my contacts synced. I cannot figure out how to manage contacts. I finally let them all sync and thought I could remove them from there but not dice. I find it hard to believe the only option is to require all of your contacts be listed? I see YouTube videos and even the media manual headlines mentioning editing contacts but the text doesn't include it.

See pages 70 and 71, "Setting Bluetooth® devices" section, of the 2024 Lexus ES250, ES350, ES300h Multimedia Owner's Manual. There's a "Sync contacts" toggle in the "General" section for a registered (or in the process of registering) Bluetooth phone device. Although it isn't shown in the screen illustration on page 70 scrolling the right side of the screen up will reveal the "Sync contacts" toggle.

Toggling "Sync contacts" to OFF will stop the system from automatically synching your Android phone contacts when the Bluetooth connection is made between the ES's system and your phone.

Thank you so much for this reply {I found the "toggle off" for sync contacts under Bluetooth & Devices. vs. General. That said, it didn't fix my issue with wanting to edit/delete/add individual contacts.

You may need to reset everything like you would if you were selling it and start over. Someone may have another alternative.

I realized what a stupid question this was. The contacts are taken from my cellphone so I'd have to delete/add there first and sync them to Bluetooth all over. Duh. Thank you to those who responded. Much appreciated!

No question is stupid - especially when you've read your owner's manual.
