How do I remove these kick panels to remove Karr Alarm?

Default Removed the unit

I gathered my gumption and removed the aftermarket dealer alarm unit (probably a Karr device). I disconnected the car battery, removed the various panels and unplugged the purple connectors jumpered onto the car's wiring.
I left the clamp-side parts on the OEM wires, and spliced the orange wires together to create continuity for the blue OEM wire cut to plug into the Karr unit. I practiced wire stripping on the orange wires shown below.
