Default Xpel clear film protection on rocker panels

I am going to have Xpel clear film protection installed on the full hood, front bumper, fenders and mirrors for my new ES350. Has anyone also had it installed on there rocker panels or rear bumper. Do you wish you had or glad that you did have it installed.

I had XPel installed on a new Nissan Z I bought some years ago. It did its job but lightly discolored after about 4 years.
I’d make sure the product no longer does that.

I (DIY) installed PPF on my Y headlights, fog lights, partial front bumper, sill plates where you enter, partial rear bumper, and rear lower doors. I also did door handles later on.

I don't regret it. if i were to do it all over, i'd do full front bumper and full hood.

basically go as heavy as you can on large front pieces. i'd leave the fenders alone, highly unlikely to get any chips.

the most satisfying of my PPF 1.5 yrs later is probably the headlights. i like knowing underneath the film have pristine new headlights.

Good PPF is warrantied against yellowing. When I had XPEL installed on another vehicle over 10 years ago, it came with a 10-year warranty...

I have Xpel on my 2021 Corvette. It's their full frontal package which includes the front bumper, hood, mirrors, and the shop that installed it also put a piece on the rocker panels. Nothing on the fenders or rear bumper. I would let a shop do it because of the warranty Xpel will give you if you use a certified shop - 10 years. You can't get a warranty on film you buy over the counter.

It's a great film. The first car show I took my car to in 2022 I got there and found a small tear on the front bumper where I apparently caught a rock on the way there. I smoothed it down with my finger, let it sit in the sun that day and the next day, and now you can't see where it happened.
