Sirius badgering
Has anyone else here who doesn't use Siruis XM radio fallen victim to Sirius badgering?
I'm talking about calling you multiple times and writing mail to you in the hopes you
start using their radio system.
I made it abundantly clear the first time they contacted me that I wasn't interested in their radio service.
But that didn't deter them for one moment. The calls and mail continues.

If you don’t want the service and they keep calling you, register your number on the Do Not Call list and report them to the FCC if it continues. Not much you can do about mail. I’m a bit surprised that they continue to be so aggressive.

I have a subscription for my wife's Denali and renewed my trial subscription in my Lexus when it ran out. It's our trip car so I didn't want to be searching for radio stations while driving. I got both vehicles for $14/month for a year. They never bother me with anything and when my one year deal runs out I'll let it lapse and then when they want me to renew I'll call back and get the same low monthly price. People do this all the time and they don't argue with you.

I always cancel my plan a day ahead of time and within a few minutes I can subscribe with deal on internet for $5.20 total for 12 mths. Sometimes the rep can do it instantly after cancel and if not do it on my own. As per agreement the plan does not lapse and auto renew at higher price as you have to cancel through chat. Canada might have different do not call law.

The only time I have been badgered was May/June from the trial on the 2022 Honda Ridgeline I purchased in March. I received several emails, and also calls (since they already had my phone number from the other vehicle accounts). Ended up with $3.99 per month for 12 months. With state tax & fees, $5.31 per month. My other two accounts are at $8.15 per month each, including tax & fees.

The key to getting lower rates is to have the radio inactive even for 1 second and newer rates are generated. I have even gotten 3 mth trials for $2. Just got to put on calendar to cancel before end.
