Quick way to turn AC on or off?

Related hack to enhance the cooling results (with or without the A/C compressor engaged)
is to touch the HVAC Mode button just once to change the normally Dash Vent Only selection
to Dash Vent and Floor Vent mode. The seat ventilation fans use the comparatively cool floor
air to cool your seat but the Auto setting chooses the Dash Vent only in hot weather (Floor Vent
only in cold weather). This simple single button press will send 1/2 the air to your feet and seat.

The seat ventilation system pulls air from the top surface of the seat cushion and seat back and expels in underneath the seat onto the floor. (See the NuLux Upholstery Auestion thread for discussion settling the seat ventilation airflow direction question.)
So, your hack of sending more cold air to the floor doesn't enhance seat ventilation cooling.
