Follow up: In the alignment, in addition to both front and steering was out of spec (all fixed), the rear right camber was -2.1.

No way to adjust rear camber in the ES or IS.

Being that the right rear is out of spec from the factory... what gives? Should I care that is .3 out of spec?

Did your ES come with high performance tires? i dont even think the F Sport does. all seasons afaik. if so, you may be mistaken.

the kinds of cars that wear @ 15k are cars with UHP summer tires and RWD with dynamic suspension setups. basically 3 series, porsche, AMG etc.

not ES...

My IS F Sport for example had the above UHP summer tires and they wore out at 12k miles. i didn't complain, i was extremely happy. that meant i had a high dynamic suspension setup.

He also confided in me that any tire they recommend is not the best. Best to get tires elsewhere. I appreciated the honesty.

side note: I can confirm the sticker on the window when I bought it stating that the tires may only last for 15k. I dont remember the exact verbiage. But, my wife pointed it out.

Back to the matter at hand. The alignment had a lot of adjustments to be made. Front right, front left, back rear, and something related to steering were out of spec. I gotta say, I didnt notice... the car drove great. Anyhow, they got everything in spec except the camber on the rear right. Its at a -2.1 I think the spec was something like .7 to 1.7 or 1.9. They said the rear camber cannot be adjusted on the IS and the ES.

is a -2.1 going to cause much wear beyond normal?
Remind me to never confide anything in you!🫣
Just kidding…

Our HS250h with optional '18 wheels had the tire life disclaimer sticker warning of possible tread
wear out at 15K miles. When we turned in the 36-month lease with 32,000 miles the tires had 4/32
tread depth remaining! They were an odd size, 225/45-18's with Low Rolling Resistance Toyo tires.
Had the unequalled combination of being both harsh riding and slippery when wet...

I picked up my 2025 ES300h on July 24th. NO stickers on rear windows advising of low tire life? Maybe the 2025's don't have this warning.

E46CT you might be right. I confirmed my tire is a turanza EL440. That is not a high perf tire. Specs say this is a 80k tire.

This tells me the excessive tire wear is related to the alignment. Cant imagine what else...

Default Bridgestone tires

Thanks for posting the photo of the label posted on the window of the Lexus. It clearly states that the car is equipped with high performance tires. My ES300h did not come with high performance tires so I can't worry about it.

I did check my tires and they are Bridgestone Turanza EL440's. I weren't to Tire Rack web site and read many reviews about this tire. Terrible reviews. I then went to Discount Tire where I have always purchased tires and checked on the Michelin Cross Climate 2. ALL positive comments. Tells me what tire I want when the OEM's are ready to beret;laced. I have never bought anything but Michelin tires since I bought my first radials from Sears in 1970. Michelin made
those tires.

Tires are another personal preference item. On my wife's 19 ES300h we had to replace the OEM Michelins at 27k in March 2023. Looked for safety (traction particularly on wet roads) and comfort. Noise not a big deal as we have music playing 90% of the time in the car. Ended up with Bridgestone WeatherPeak and have had no issues. Wife is happy.

On my 22 GLS 450 last August replaced the Michelin CrossClimate with Continental CrossContact LX25 and very happy.

Stock tires are Michelin Energy Saver A/S. They are okay I guess.

I noticed that tire warning sticker too. I saw them on all the Turanza tire ES. Didn’t see them on the cars with Michelin OEM. Fortunately when I got a 2024 it had Michelins and no sticker.

Mine were the "Energy Saver" flavor, I'm not sure if there are other OEM Michelin's
Honestly I would not shed a tear if these wore out early, I prefer higher profile tires.

Yeah I also have the Energy Saver A/S ones and yep I too would not be sad if they only lasted 15K.
