Scuffed Dash
#2
This is an extremely extremely extremely common reported issue on this model and other lexus models as well. Tons and tons of discussions all over toyota and lexus forums across various models since around 2018 ish. i respond very strongly in various forums and communities especially when people say they use this spray or that spray to "fix it." -- no.
i experienced this in 2021 on both my ESes, from light finger/cloth contact. Despite being a master detailer myself, nothing I did (including a dealer detailer that tried under warranty) could "fix it."
so i'll give you the friendly elegant answer.
essentially there's no fix for it other than replacement.
no products, sprays, or oils will fix it, but perhaps temporarily mask it until the product evaporates.
it's an issue of the material being mechanically abraded. the material is not designed well.

As E46 states, there are literally scores of posts on this subject. Do a search and read them if you have a day to spend. Numerous chemicals, polishes, and other fixes have been suggested without success. Lexus changed the dash material starting with the 2019 MY and that's when the complaints also started. Apparently Lexus has continued to utilize the same material for 6 model years and the complaints continue. There is no permanent fix. I found that wiping the dash with water every time I wash the car - no chemicals - and after 6 years (in December) the marks have disappeared. And now we are extremely careful when entering and exiting the car so as not to touch the dash. Sad but true... GOOD LUCK with your new wheels and welcome to the forum.

I actually found a scratch on the door part...where they window control is. It is black plastic I guess. I think maybe my dog did it but I am also frustrated. Tried some black polish but it came right back. Its annoying and now I will be super careful and no doggo in my car.

I seriously doubt that Lexus would go for replacing the dash for damaged or scuffed surfaces. They haven't addressed this issue since 2018 and now we find the same material is being used in the 2025 model.
Lexus should be ashamed of themselves for this poor reaction to the numerous complaints. It's not the owner's fault, it's the shoddy material being used.
