It just can't be like the 2013-2015 ES that I loathed about on this forum years ago until the 2016 refresh. That was one of the most pathetic excuses for a 'luxury' car. Hope they learned their lesson.

They were released by Lexus on their Twitter feed so I see no reason to doubt them.

That's true. The IS, RC and GX don't have it. I believe the new Lexus UX won't have either since its going to be their cheapest offering.
We are going to just have to wait and see what they offer when they reveal it.
Not just Lexus - Toyota tends to do that too. They add good features and then removes it. I have noticed that with the Camry. The Camry had LED brake lights in 2007 but once that generation ended, they removed the LED brakes till 2018. Not sure why they do this. Lol.

You can probably expect the ESh to have 208+ TSHP. Since its based on the Camry/Avalon.
Not to nitpick, but to be fair, the refreshed Camry that came out in 2010 had standard LED brake lights - I had one. The 2007-2009 ones were easy to distinguish due to their traditional halogen brake lights. It is unfortunate the next-gen Camry following that one lost those taillights - they looked cool! The 2010 Camry was an overall mediocre, but inoffensive car - perhaps it really needed the taillights to set itself apart. At the time sales weren't doing so hot.

The Lexus ES is likely to have a standard digital display for the Non F-Sport model. The standard digital display will probably not be similar to the LS but a better version of the UX, I assume. The F-Sport ES, if they do one, will have the LFA gauges.

I think the digital gauges that will be similar to the LS will be saved for the GS.

Looks good and will probably have more rear space than the LS.

Put in AWD and it will sell like crazy - all the bean counters will rejoice in their brilliance!

Hopefully GS will be the LC 4door coupe.

I agree with you, this also leads me to believe Lexus will launch a LS500L before years end.

I agree. I think the Lexus LS500L is gonna happen either late this year or next year.

The new LS is 206in in total length. Last years short and long wheel base versions of the 460 were 199in / 205in respectively. The S-Class is 206.5in total length. Unless Lexus plans on making a Maybach or Pullman equivalent. I highly doubt this.

New 7ES has such a fantastic positive reception.
The LC coupe had a lovely reception too.
This puts to death the idea in some people's minds that every new Lexus model release is hated.

People complained to high hell about the LC! There was a huge thread with people constantly hating on it about it being too heavy, too underpowered, etc etc.

True.
And they may complain about 7ES not having a small capacity turbo too.
However, at least the styling is positive, and I wouldn't mind betting that 7ES will sell well...

I will bet money that there will be complaints on CL about how the 7ES won't have a Turbo.
Its not surprising it won't have a Turbo because its based on the Camry/Avalon. Its likely going to use the same V6 and hybrid system as the Camry/Avalon. At most - maybe a couple of extra HP differences.

New Camry selling well with atmos engine, but Accord Turbo selling poorly.
Do you think 7ES with atmos engine will sell well?

I suspect 7ES will sell well despite atmos - you know why?
