Default Release Date for 2019 ES 350

Has anyone heard what the official release date for the 2019 ES 350 will be in the US? The only time I'm hearing is sometime in September.

As a follow up question isnt it usually the case when a car is "released," it usually takes a 1-3 months for the cars to actually be delivered to dealerships?

The term, "car will be released on..." usually refers to when it hits dealers, not when it begins assembly at the factory.

I think so too, that blue is, from what I’ve seen, is exclusive to the F sport models, although there is another variation available.

Any ETAs for when we'd be able to configure the 2019s online?

One of my local dealerships (SoCal) called me today and said the 2019's are SLOWLY coming in...beginning THIS week!!! I'm scheduled to test drive the new ES 350 and 300h.

Lexus Canada already has the configure section available, but Lexus.com is still lagging behind!

The US configurator usually gets going once cars are for sale. I'd be surprised if it beat it. Lexus said September, so it sounds like from the above they are a bit ahead of schedule or the dealer is blowing a little smoke.

There are some 2019 es Vin #s showing up at a few dealerships. So it's probably on the way to dealerships.

I bought my 2013 ES 350 on September 15th. 2012. It was the 3rd. car to come into the dealer... So the wait is about a month...

Each model release is different from the one before. Looking back on past release dates isn't going to draw a solid parallel.
