Default 2019 ES in the flesh

Didnt even know one showed up till yesterday. figures cause when a new model shows up on the truck, ill follow the car all the way into the service bay and ****** the keys before anyone else gets to drive it lol.
anyway, i left the confines of the service drive to go grab a key for something else up front, and BAM! there sits a new ES, and i gotta say, WOW im impressed! of course, i ask my boss for the keys, and i usually get them, but this time, nope. it was already sold. atleast i can still say i was the very first, to drive the very first LC500h in Orlando a week before it came out which was awesome. and i can still say i sold the very first RC350-F Sport in Central Florida, back when i was still in sales, and they cant ever take those from me! oh well, anyways, to those who have not had a chance to look at it in person, it really is as striking as it is in pictures, if not MORE SO, to the actual eye. its razor sharp looking, its wider, longer, and meaner then the previous. fit and finish feel excellent, but that's about all ive been able to do with it. open and close the doors, sit in it, and look at it. anyway, check this thing out! Lexus REALLY knocked it out of the park with the new ES!!

now, this is the hybrid obviously, so hopefully the next will be an ES350 and ill actually be able to drive it before it sells. we shall see. and when i DO get to drive it, ill do a video demo review and go over all the cool new stuff it has.

LOOK AT THAT FACE!!!!! its awesome!!!

amazing details, looks that could kill, and everything about it feels rock solid. unfortunately, i just dont do FWD cars personally, and i REALLY wish this was offered in RWD, along with all the previous ES, because they really are pretty cars that handle well and can actually be fun to drive, shame really. however i know theres an AWD one coming down the pipe, which works for me.

btw, i did this tribute video to the ES, for my dealership. basically every single ES commercial ever crammed into about 3 mins with some edits. starts out with the launch of the facelift gen-6 video, and a man as a baby, growing up with the ES through the years. check it out. its not a sales ad. just something i did for fun.

Default Major forward step! Little relationship to prior generation.

Hmmm. I don't think I'd try shaving in the front seat but I'd comb my hair...LOL!

I feel sorry for Lexus owners who live in states that require a front license plate. As distasteful as I think the new corporate grill is, it is certainly not improved by the appearance of a license plate.

And I'm waiting to learn whether or not the F Sport grill can be installed without requiring the whole front bumper assembly. I can almost handle the F-Sport grill.

A fine looking car.
