@rare wolf
it rides stiff... true.. i had a YE 2003 ES 300 ....that was super dampened ride.
i think it just the way TNGA platform has been designed ie more "sporty" "handle corners".. i think this part Lexus should have ignored.
We can all thank those idiot motor journalist who kept comparing it to European sports sedans READ BMW

Yeah I bought an ES cause I did NOT want a connection to the road. Lexus was bragging how its tuned on their special race track.. NO we don't want that. We want OLD man ES stuff. i spent my years grinding out at the track and canyon with prepped cars.
i'm old now and i want the ES to float like one of those old lincoln town cars.. or like a Lexus back in the day. stupid youtube reviewers crying about track times

First time Lexus owner. 2022 ES 350 delivered on 1/1/22 just in time for December to Remember with single-digit miles
Looking for a quiet ride, reliable, spacious, no-fuss, tech-enough(Android Auto + Touch), multi-thousand mile, highest value and best depreciation (62% residual in 5 years) car, the ES 350 beat the BMW 5-"too small in the back" series and the E-"cheap interior" class in everything I cared about.
Test drove the 350 and 300h, the latter's mileage improvement is amazing but I couldn't stand the engine cutting in and out. Smoothness is key for me.
For me, Blue Mica exterior with Palomino interior looks gorgeous, then Caviar was 2nd and Cloudburst was 3rd. I say "Black is boring, white is white, and blue is just right"
Base + 18" wheels + Premium Package + Wood Trim + accessories....bought for MSRP and minimal typical dealer add-on....would've wanted ML and other specific options but you can't be choosy in these times.....
My local dealer didn't have the specific car in-stock so they worked hard and found one within a week right off the production line going to another dealer and made it happen.
My salesman along with their sales manager and finance person were upstanding. What I was quoted out the door after negotiation from day one, did not change 1 cent during closing in finance. No high pressure tactics.
What a great experience as a first-time customer and refreshing start for my Lexus ownership

Congrats on the new vehicle.
Sounds like a good transaction, how about sharing the dealers information for those of us looking for a good dealer?

I wish an aftermarket would come in and create a screw on/clip on LED fog light to go in the bottom outside corners of the grill. It would blend in and look OE. Or even a bezel to replace the outside ones that have integrated fog lights--and no not for actual fog. just for aesthetics.
The new grill is nice though.

Hi group!
Short time reader, first time poster. ( I think)
Just picked up my special order. Ordered 11/02/21, built 1/04/22, arrived 1/18/22.
2022 ES 350 Ultra Lux.
Cloudburst Gray, black w/ black open pore wood trim.
My add ons were:
Triple Beam LED Headlamps
Smart Access Card Key
Navigation/Mark Levinson Audio Package
I opted for regular moonroof over the panoramic glass roof.
MSRP $54,265
Disc. $4873 + Rebate $1500 = $6373
Purchase price $47,892
I call that a “Unicorn Deal!” (In this market anyway!)
My previous Lexus, which I cashed out a year early on my lease to the tune of $8500 in equity/profit, was a 2019 ES 350 Lux. Nebula Gray Pearl with Chateau (Shimamoku Brown)
Had almost every option with the exception of triple beams.
I had the power rear sunshade only.
3 standard features only available on Ult. Lux. (2019 models) and no other trim level (even as options) were Semi-aniline leather, manual side window sunshade and lateral performance dampers.
I also had the pano roof and that being the reason I didn’t order my new one with one! Looks nice but had to have it replaced twice and had noise issues.
MSRP $52,008
Disc. + Rebate = $11,382
Purchase price $40,626
I call that a “Unicorn Deal!”
Build date 2/2019
Sold 12/27/2019
Now if I can only figure out a way to change/update my username.
***EDIT*** Some of the photos are the lower quality versions that I edited by accident. You can't tell until you see them on the big screen. I'll correct that soon.

Beautiful. ES 350s are built in Lexus’ Kentucky plant, so was it delivered to you with like 3 miles on the ODO?
Video of the plant =>
Yeah, I test drove ESs with the pano-roof and they seem to be noisier in general especially on the highway.
Btw, how were you able to secure a discount in this market? Any tips to offer for future purchases?
On a separate note, Toyota has announced in October that ES manufacturing will shift back to Japan in 2024 => https://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory/...plant-80858571

Since we don't have a "daily post" thread for 7ES and i didn't want to make a new post, just wanted to share a casual snap.
