Traded in my 2017 IS200t for the sexy but elegant 2019 ES350 F Sport fully loaded White/Red. I thought when I got the IS that was it, then looked at the ES and fell head over heels.
Hi guys, bought a 2019 ES 350 F Sport, Atomic Silver with black interior. ML sound, HUD. Just love the car. Had the windows tinted and Expel clear material on the entire front.
I just picked up our new ES 300h this evening. The dealer found the colors we wanted, Atomic Silver with Chateau interior. It is the luxury model with standard stereo , hud and numerous other goodies. I really wanted triple beam headlights but that just wasn’t in the cards for various reasons I won’t belabor here. Anyway, we are very excited and now comes the learning curve challenges.
I figured that if I got a car every few years, then what is state-of-the-art now will be run-of-the-mill later. That's why I got the Ultra Luxury model, fully loaded.
I moved up from a top of the line 2012 Prius. That was my 3rd Prius. My first was a 2001 model, one of the first 5K hybrids in America. I wanted to move up to a luxury car while staying with a hybrid. The trunk of the 2018 ES was too small, so I almost got an Avalon, but then the 2019 came out. I had to wait months for them to make and ship the car, but it's so worth it!
I picked it up on 2-15-2019. Atomic Silver. So far, I love it. ;-)
traded in wife's IS350 F-Sport for a 2019 ES350 F-Sport
HUD
Adaptive suspension
ML Audio
Parking Assist
Nav with the big screen
Triple beam (must have option imo)
The triple beam headlights are the only thing I didn't get on my ES 300h Ultra Luxury. I'm curious how many people actually get that option. An extra $1500 for something that doesn't provide any added benefit and I don't actually even see when I'm driving just seems odd to me.

I respectfully disagree. The triple beam headlights on our NX provide noticeably better lighting than the standard lights, even better than the HID lights from the RX we traded. I would argue you really need to experience them at night to appreciate the difference (beyond cosmetic). My wife and I didn’t appreciate them on the NX until we took a test drive at night. I realize the design on the ES is a little different, but I still believe there is an added benefit. Now is it $1500 worth? Perhaps that depends on one’s eyesight and budget?

I can't speak about the NX but I did test drive the ES with both the triple beam and without. I saw no noticable difference. Just my experience.
