Default Passenger Cup Holder / Possible deal breaker?

I am considering the ES 300h as my first Lexus model. But honestly, despite all the reasons why I want to buy this model, there may be a deal breaker for me. I have finally seen one photo that appears to be the Passenger Cup Holder in the center console in front of the track pad - please confirm.

What I can't tell is that based on it's position, could this cup holder fit a 32oz drink such as the one from McDonalds. YES, I did say McDonalds. That has never been a problem in my vehicles before, but I'm guessing because of the trackpad, it couldn't be placed elsewhere in the center.

So, is there enough room to set a 8" tall cup in that holder, and not have the cup interfered BY the controls? I don't care if it covers the seat warmer controls while it's there. I just want the cup to be able to fit, with a straw in it and be accessible to the passenger.

I think there's another cup holder further back in the console that has two levels of depth.
