This thread is about the standard Pioneer audio system. That said, I drove a 6th gen ES350 the other day and I think even with a lack of rear speaker balance, the 7th gen stock sound quality is much much better.

any news on this? There was talk in some forums about a TSB that could be asked for to replace the rear amplifier. Also that Lexus planned to fix the issue with newer models. Well, my 2023 ES base system has pathetically quiet rear speakers, so it does not appear that an automatic fix was done.

Can the TSB be asked for for 2023's?

Same answer I gave you in another thread.

I'm replying to your old post of the standard audio system layout to say "thanks" for the diagram of the audio system. Got our '23 300h in March and as a retired audio/video guy I was wondering why the sound crapped out when faded to the rear. This tells me why! Thanks again.

I'm having the exact same problem with a 2024 ES350. Very little sound from rear speaker I did find TSB L-SB-0020-20 for 2019 models.

I called the dealer just last week to ask if there was anything since the 2019 TSB and he said there was not. He called me back the next day as well to tell me he investigated and nothing.

I'll bring this speaker issue up during my 6 month service checkup.
I think I may have also noticed the slight antifreeze smell ThekingXX mentioned in post 175.
