Sport+ Mode?

I've noticed you've been asking a lot about driving impressions and comparisons to others cars. I would STRONGLY recommend you take a little time and just go drive them! I was looking at the ES on paper, thinking I wanted one thing, then drove them and did a complete 180. The internet can only tell you so much... eventually you'll have to get behind the wheel
Not looking to buy a car right now.
But am curious about this ES F Sport. I had thought about a F Sport in 2013, but the GS was out of my budget.
In 2018, the ES F Sport wasn't available. I picked between an Infiniti Q50S and ES 350.
Hopefully the ES F Sport will still be around, the next time I'm ready.
Did you end up picking the ES F Sport over the ES Ultra Lux?

I bought my car earlier this year.

Has anyone figured out the "custom Mode"? if you push the right side twice its a custom mode from what I see in the F Sport, I just don't know what it is changing? I haven't had time to read the manual yet.

Assuming the ES is like other Lexus models with Custom mode, go into settings on your center screen and into vehicle settings.

They didn't have a F Sport with AVS. They looked it up and told me one dealer had one car with it. I drove what was available, so it was a non AVS F sport.
I saw S+ mode wasn't available. As noted earlier in this thread, I guess it's only for cars with AVS.
In Sport mode, the car felt more responsive than my non ES F Sport. I also felt more of the road. I'd probably take the trade-off of having more responsive steering, with losing some of the smooth ride.
However, maybe a car with AVS would also be able to have that smoother ride.
I'd also want to test drive it again, because I think another car like the Infiniti Q50 Sport was still more responsive. The ES F Sport's increased responsiveness over the non F Sport was good, though.
Also on a future test drive, I'd want to do a few more turns. The path I was on was mostly straight, and the one or two turns I did were into lanes with construction zones, so I couldn't turn as freely. I didn't want to ask to go elsewhere on the test drive, since I wasn't looking to buy a car.
Also, when looking at the show room, I noticed a lot of the center front air vents could be closed now. That's a great feature, and something I've always wanted control over. Is that for all 2019 Lexus cars, or only various 2019 Lexus F Sport models?

Thinking about it some more, I wish I had test driven a regular ES and F Sport back to back. Even though I have an ES, unless I test drive on the same path and make the same turns, I can't really compare the responsiveness, handling, and smoothness.
Now I'm not as sure about the differences.
When I test drove an Infinti Q50 last year, I drove the Sport first, then the Luxe, then the Sport again. After doing that, I could definitely confirm how they drove differently.
