Curious what's your MPG with upgraded wheels? Always wondered how our cars would respond to changing the wheels. I know with the Prius, MPG takes a 6-10mpg hit when you go from 15ss to 17s, but i do know the newer hybrid systems are more powerful. Strangely Lexus does not use different #s for the 17" ES300h vs the ones with 18" luxury package. With the Prius, you got different MPG #s.

I was getting around 43-44 constantly before i lowered it and the wheels. Now I'm getting around 37-38. I still need to get it aligned, because I'm sure the toe is out due to the lowering. I'm going to get it aligned today, so ill see if that helps.

Ahh ok. Well for a big car that's still good. The toe won't really do much. The wheels look good though.

I actually just got it aligned, and it’s back to normal. 44-45 mpg. The toe was out and the rear was a little negative (-2 degrees) and yeah the alignment guy said the rear can’t be adjusted for camber. I would need a kit.

For an accurate understanding, you should average the MPG calculation out over at least 2-3 tanks. Probably a few more since now you're expecting to get better mileage. Placebo effect and all.

Once again, 3 tanks later, on the average of 43-44 MPG. I think that just about covers it

What do y'all feel about the UL wheels painted/coated to another color - black, or the color of the f sport wheels. I have a white car and not really feeling the chrome color, even though i like the wheels.

Did someone chrome them or they came like that? I thought factory ones are like a satin dark gray?

If it's "OEM" stay oem. painting cheapens it. it's a premium option.
