The 18" noise reduction wheels standard on the Ultra Luxury models are (according to the 2019 ES marketing handout) a high gloss finish which to my eye has a chrome like color look. Not a mirror finish like the "chrome" trim pieces but still a chrome-ish/silver-ish looking color. At the [US] Lexus web site if you chose one of the ES Ultra Luxury models you'll see photos of Ultra Luxury models with the 18" noise reduction wheels which have a glossy chome-ish color look.

There is/was listed another 18" wheel (not the noise reduction ones) described with "Dark Silver with machined finish." Perhaps, it was that factory finish you was thinking of.

Hey nice Lexus, do you mind sharing the tire size? How are the 22s holding up?

kept all oem speakers installed. Sounds fine but upgrades would definitely make a big difference along with subwoofer.

Love your car I have same model, and I’m thinking of getting new wheels, I’m pushing more towards 20 inch rims but I don’t want my car to have much wheel gap or should I go 19s I don’t want to lower. How is the ride comfort after adding bigger wheels.

Default Ride & Clearance

I have had these on for about 4 months now (My Michigan Summer Rims & Tires), and ride is the same as the 18” stock rims. The gain on Summer streets is the great grip of the Pilot Sport 4S tires. This combo handles take offs, corners and curves like I’m driving a well tuned luxury “Go Kart!” Lol. I decided on the 19” verses 20” because the stock F Sport had 19” and I didn’t want to chance any rubs. Don’t plan on lowering the car and with the NIA skirt kit I love the overall look.

You can run 20x9 and not rub at all with rsr lowering springs.

Running 20x9. Getting tired of black so I might get different wheels soon.

Yeah looks good as is. Definitely do not lower. That's not for this kind of car. Lowering by definition will ruin the ride (and handling) and the mood/class of the car. So you made a great choice and your kit looks nice. Did you ever investigate the total weight of your wheel and tire setup per wheel? Or at least the wheel (you can find the tire weight on tire rack) I'm curious how it compares to stock (not for handling, but for fuel economy) but then i didn't even check if you have a hybrid or 350.
