Default Just bought a 2019 350 ES UL

First thanks for all the help from posts from folks here about pricing and options. I read everything and it helps. I got mine for 7% + off of MSRP. So $53533 went down to $49700. Under 50K so I evaded CT Luxury tax. It is Moonbeam Beige W/Flaxen Bamboo. Made in the USA. I think it has most everything. Will pick it up Monday. Thanks again! Chris

PS, Another local dealer had a White and black inside UL and they offered it to me for a full 10% off of MSRP. I Would have gone for it but I didn't want white and black. It had 5,000 miles on it , was the managers car. I saw it, was nice!

The only 2 colors I liked were Atomic and Moonbeam. Well Black as well but I got that last time. They had the Moonbeam so I went for it. I punched it in the parking lot and it went like stink! ;-)

Congrats! I got mine Wednesday. Eminent White Pearl with Black interior (which is really a dark gray). Took it for its first road trip yesterday. 300 miles. Loved every mile. I think blind spot monitoring is just the neatest thing - especially when you're on the freeway

Gorgeous. We have the white pearl on our RX. It is a truly unique color. The white on my ES Fsport is a different shade - UltraWhite but equally striking.

Oh I forgot. For pricing help for others. Another dealer I was working with offered me a 2019 350 ES UL for a full 10% off of MSRP. But...….It had 5,000 miles on it because it was the managers car. It was white with black and loaded. But I didn't want white. The 5,000 miles would not have bothered me.

But that mileage would warrant more than 10% off msrp.

Mike, What is happening around here in Conn. is that the dealers are running low on UL's. So the buyers can't find what they want in colors and interiors. If you see one you like better grab it quick it will be gone if you don't. Being in the richest county in the wealthiest state in the Union I think a lot of buyers around here don't hammer on the prices too hard? Just my speculation. But all the dealers that I approached for 10% off MSRP with a 830 credit score and Cashiers check in hand for the full $53K just said No! Can't do it and let me walk away and no call back either. So then I would have to go even farther away and spend more time looking while loosing my self employment income while chasing after the better rate. But I don't know how leases work. I buy and keep for 10 years. Just trying to help others here like they helped me. Will all the 10%'ers please chime in on your bargaining techniques and where you got the car from.

First of all, note that cashiers check in hand does not incent them at all. Theyd rather sell you some financing and earn a few more shekels that way. In my case, i went hard for 10% off (also in an affluent area Bergen County NJ although not convinced your theory there is accurate), they balked and let me walk. No call backs for roughly about a month or so I called them again, asked for their best deal and they came back with roughly 8% off plus a decent trade on my five year old Azera. FSport white with black $52k sticker. I now own it.

Mike, I didn't tell dealers I was paying cash. I said I would decide how to finance after the deal. I agree of course cash is no incentive to a dealer. All the dealers around here have a ton of F Sports and a lot of Luxury models, but not UL's. Like 20 F's sometimes. I don't get it? Like everyone over estimated the demand? I drove one and they are very nice if you want the better handling etc.
