Hidden windshield wipers
I just found out that the wipers on the 2019's cannot be moved up for winter driving like the gen 6 models could. On gen 6 models the wipers could be moved up and away from the rear of the hood so that they could be set away from the glass when snow or ice is coming. On the current gen (7) cars you turn off the engine, push up the mist lever within 45 seconds and the wipers stop in the "service position". Only then can you move them away from the glass. This procedure is also used when changing blades or refills.
I wish that Lexus had kept the old system where the wipers could be tucked down under the rear of the hood in summer and brought up in winter.

My point was that you didn't have to do any of this previously. You set the wipers for winter and left them there. Didn't have to worry about ice forming where you couldn't get at it. When winter was over you pushed them back down under the rear of the hood until next winter... Lexus improves some things and UNimproves others...
