Just a heads up but Lexus cash is $3,000 now for 2019 ES/ESh models and $1,500 for 2020 ES/Esh models.

Date Purchased (Month, Day, Year):

Oct 28, 2019
  • Location(State):
    CT - Hartford
  • Trim (Luxury, UL, Fsport,....etc.):
    F-Sport
  • MSRP:
    $52,583
  • Selling price before Tax Title License (TTL):
    $43,475
  • Rebates (included in selling price):
not sure, part of the deal
  • Price Out The Door (Optional due to different tax rate and fees):
hard to state since we added Wheel & Tire coverage and 10yr extended warranty
  • Dealership add-on:
    None

Technically this car was the sales manager's car and had 3600miles on it. However, I got this price via a competing offer from another dealer 45minutes away. The 2nd dealer offer was done by email. They also helped me get a better trade-in price on my '16, $21,500 vs $18,500 at my dealer. Very happy with the results.
The purchase was made at my local dealer when they agreed to meet the price

Received an email overnight on a 2019 F-Sport I've been eyeing, but is not my first color choice. Dealer is offering 6% off and says Lexus will give $4,250 Lease Cash. Overall, this is 14% off, combined. Certainly nothing to jump at just yet. Wonder how much Straight Cash Off will be?

BTW, Lexus October 2019 ES sales were down 450 units from September 2019. The sales slowdown continues.

Just quickly looked at several dealers who are advertising December-To-Remember and noticed that some offers expire December 2, 2019. Different car lines seem to have different incentives. This implies to me that maybe Lexus is going to tier their discounts during the event and might become aggressive once December actually gets here.

Note that model year end promotions include, not only the higher rebates, but, also, increased unadvertised incentives that Lexus offers to dealers to help them to reduce their inventories of the outgoing model year vehicles. Those unadvertised incentives allow the dealers to offer even larger discounts from MSRP than they would be able to offer earlier in the model year. Thus, when negotiating prices, buyers should be looking for larger discounts (beyond the rebates) than they would have been looking for several months ago.

Hmm..so if I'm aiming for a 2020MY 300h UL at end of Nov, how much % off should I be expecting from the dealership piece of the pie? 10%..?
Obviously price wise I'm starting off with at least $1500 higher than 2019 MY just due to the factory rebate difference, plus less incentive for them to move 2020 compared to 2019.
Do dealerships generally discount the hybrids less, more, or about the same compared to the ES350? Since 300h are not as abundant in inventory as the 350 counterpart...

It seems there are plenty of base models 2020 ESh around in my area, which are probably pre-Oct production anyway so they lack Android Auto...

Man this whole manufacture date within a model year stuff is not going to help with negotiation...

Now that the Lexus Cash offer has been raised to $3,000, has anyone negotiated an out-the-door price before tax and license of about 20% off MSRP (including Lexus Cash) on a high-end loaded 2019 ES 350?

With so many 2020 models being delivered, the 2019s are really last year's cars that dealers need to move out.

Yes, the CURRENT December to Remember factory rebate expires December 2nd. Depending on the environment then the rebate can change, and I doubt will get worse; will either stay the same or get better. But will the dealership still have the car you want or will it be sold by then?

I can't believe I can't get 20% off. I'll wait till the end of the month, but if I can't get my color, I still won't buy. Looked like inventory was low (at the dealership). I assume they have more stored away, but they are telling me they don't. If that's the case, I won't be getting one I guess. I'm also interested in a Corvette. We'll see!

I'm not having that 20% luck, but then again I'm in California. I'm waiting till the end of November to try again. I may have to look a little further out or look at other cars?

44,274 MSRP on 2019 ES350 (base with a few extra options)

$39,218.66 OUT THE DOOR including TT&L.

Other option is a demo with 2,800 miles.

MSRP: $47414
Sales price: $38098
OUT THE DOOR PRICE: $40922

Think there is any more wiggle room?

Smile Bought This Car Today

Today I took delivery of a 2019 ES 350 Ultra Luxury - Silver Lining Metallic - Black Semi-Aniline Leather - Mark Levinson Sound and most other options.

MSRP $54,051 Paid $46,349 plus tax and license. 14.25% off MSRP

This was the only 2019 ES 350 UL with that combo left in inventory of 10 Lexus dealers within 100 miles, so I decided not to wait longer for further price drops. Very glad I moved on it.

Thanks to all of you who have posted pricing information. This forum is great! Happy Holidays to all.

John (Santa Rosa, CA -- Sonoma County Wine Country)

Congratulations! That's the exact car I'm looking for as well, but waiting to close on our new home before purchasing. What do you think of it so far?
