Congrats. As predicted. End of March is the race to finish. Best deals to be had, and they will dry up until the summer end of year of sales

Thanks all for the advice on the thread. Helped me feel confident in my decision to buy. So ready to rid myself of our 10 yr old BMW, that thing is a bottomless pit of problems.

Dumb question but how you approach the dealer (who to talk to, should I come in or call or email etc.) to get that 15% discount, I am kind of guy that is very straight, I am thinking go there or call them and ask if I can have 15% of MSRP, but I dont think it will work lol. My area has 5-6 lexus dearlers within 50 miles
Thanks all!
Thanks all!

Had two offers today for a 2019 300h. Took the first since we didn’t really care about the extra features in the higher MSRP price. Thank you to posters here, particularly #22 for giving us goals.

So all in all my advice is to
- Put out feelers on car configurations you are interested in with internet salespeople at dealers in your area. I just used the "purchase inquiry" button on the Lexus dealer's website that appears when you are looking at a specific car.
- You'll start to get a feel for who is willing to play ball based on their responses and offers. Go to those places in person and negotiate. I only had to do this once, I chose the dealer that gave me a solid offer over email but requested we come in to strike a better deal - which is when I got the 16.4% off offer.
- Keep multiple dealers in play, and you can leverage an offer at one dealer against another if you need to - although better to buy from the dealer who was willing to work with you first as long as they have the car configuration you want!

Manufacturer Window Sticker with Delivery $46.5.
Out the door with taxes/registration all-in $46.
Could only find one model on all the area lots, that ONLY had want I wanted and no more.
Found a couple of cars that that had more options, could have got bigger discount, but car would have still cost more than I wanted to spend.

I've regularly been reading posts on the various CL model forums for about 6 years, and, more often than not, the best prices that I've seen from the Texas dealers have been from Sewell in Dallas, and those prices have often been right in the same range as what people are reporting from dealers in southern California.
