Phone Holder?
Doe anyone have advice for a phone holder? How about the MacNeil Cupfone pictured below? Is it just a rattle trap? Any other suggestions?

That cup one is neat although I rarely use my phone while in the car other than the hands free functions.

I have yet to find a great one. Plus, I'm not willing to give up the passenger cup holder and leave the cover open all the time. And the one nearest the driver's seat will be too close. Keep us informed about what you decide. The CD one sounds good except I'm an old guy who still uses the player. I can tell you that none of the air vent ones I've ever tried have worked. And nothing with a suction has either. The best I'd had was a magnetic mount. But on this model there's no place really convenient to put one of those. I'm waiting for Beat-Sonic to release their version of the smartphone mirroring system for 7th Gen ES. Then I can mirror my phone on the infotainment system.

After a lot of looking, I decided on the WizGear vent mount from Amazon. I'm very pleased with it. I mounted it on the center passenger vent because my husband is my usual passenger, and he doesn't even prefer to have that vent blowing on him. I can still see the headup display, and the mount has a ball joint socket in the back, so I can pivot it. The only thing it blocks is the car clock, which I don't even like anyway because it's a dial clock with no numbers on it. Plus my phone has a clock on it, and I can lift the mount up if I really want to see the car clock (see photo). This mount still holds my phone tight with a pop socket on the back of the phone (see side view photo). I couldn't be happier with this setup for me. (p.s. I drive a NX, but the admins said they merged my original question about phone mounts to here. IDK why with the ES)

3 years late but wanted to share with anyone else interested in the future. I picked up the linked below and has been great so far. The pic is from from my angle of what I see and blocked. There's slight wobble because I don't want to overtighten the clip and risk it breaking but this seems to be the best phone mount so far that blocks the least. Also a plus that you can still use the vents!

I don't like buttons I frequently use block so the above solution won't work. I have been rocking this for past 2 years:
The height and angle are easily adjustable. Only down side is I lose a cup holder. However I don't eat / drink in the car so it doesn't impact me in a negative way.
