While in park, you could always watch some DVD's to pass the time!

Because Lexus thinks it too dangerous for us to look at while driving.
We can look at a bunch of other things on our 12.5" screen, we can read 3 lines of text to see what is playing on Sirus/XM, etc, but that little pic is too dangerous.
I appreciate the safety features they have in their cars, but this is not a feature, it's a lecture and it's absurd.
Anyone interested in a class action or otherwise adverse campaign to get them to reverse this?

I just dropped my car off to have protective film installed and my service advisor recommended that if enough feedback comes in from customers regarding things like those contained within this thread - Lexus could consider making a change for the sake of 'customer convenience'. I lobbied my feedback at both the service advisor and the in-house tech specialist - both who said they understood. Let's see if it turns into anything. I will be inquiring on every visit until something changes.

Yes, I say we get rid of the Radio all together.... I'm very distracted by it and the heated steering wheel makes me drowsy..... head rest is also distracting to me.... knew I should have gotten a horse. Mikemu30, it's not a "huge" deal, but it's not the business of Lexus to decide these things. Bluetooth, USB, talking on the phone.... all distractions.... which feature gets taken next?
