Ya, that's the first thing I saw when I went to the link to look at these caps.

Yeah had these caps over 5 years on various cars. Platinum flawless results. again... wheels are aluminum and rotors are steel. sure there's a reaction over time, you just deal with it as anything else. valve stem caps are a non issue. there's 4.4 billion more important things to be more concerned about lol.

I see you are in California so the temperature there is more forgiving compare to say the snow belt. My bro-law experienced the ionization and he had one heck of a time removing the caps once it happened. Just be careful that's all.

Wrapped the front windshield trim pieces in gloss black. These are a bit tricky to wrap (to look visually perfect) due to having a flexible rubber seal on the edge.

Wow, that's a remarkable difference. Fortunately my car doesn't have such large gaps (I don't think - but now I'm going to have to double-check that). I would imagine gaps that large would result in some additional wind noise - if not right away at least after some time and aging of the seals. Did you use the same technique to flip the door striker?

No noises, the pictures exaggerate the gaps, you have to look closely, squint, one eye sort of deal. align yourself with the side of the car. very hard to notice unless you're looking for it. I would guestimate about 1.5mm
yes i inverted the striker plate. Two T40 screws. Takes less than a minute. Mark edges with masking tape first (not pictured) so you have a reference point. I'm curious how the factory handles adjustments cause the plate can't move. I wish i had access to the tech docs again.

Finally DIY tinted my windows. I did this on the cheap so had left over scrap laying around from a prior car and made an order for what i needed but it all looks consistent.
Rear glass is Llumar 35% (hand cut by me)
