They're on the ESes in ROW. Asia, middle east, UK etc. I've thought about it last year. is it just a standard USA part #? i've seen them on ebay but didn't want it to not fit right, look weird.

I debadged the "ES300h" so if i do this lexus badge, it'll just be one badge. plus i'd need to position it just perfectly so ideally you'd want a stencil from Lexus. or you can just eyeball it which i'm sure this poster did

Agree. One of the things that makes this installation look so good is that it's a perfect size match for the emblem on the other side.

Part number is 75447-33170 and it is called PLATE, LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR NAME, NO. 1. It is from last gen ES but the font and size matches perfectly.

Thanks for the info. Double-stick tape (as I'd expect) or drilling of holes?

I added the F Sport badge that was removed in 2022. I guess they saved $.05 on each F Sport produced by removing the badge..lol

It comes with the tape on it so you just remove the plastic thingy and attach it to the car. No hole drilling needed! Its a PITA to align and get it perfect with the other badge as far as height and distance from the side though! I thought I did my best but there's a little misalignment

If you ask nicely, lexus dealer can do a print out of the stencil/dimensions or measurements for the emblem. i've done it before.

Not sure about the F-sport badge on the tailgate. E.g. GS F Sport just have a understated "F" logo on the fender. That's it. Its only with this generation ES that F-Sport labels goes flying randomly all over the place.

Yes I have always wondered why the US models don't have the LEXUS badge at the rear. All ours do for as long as Lexus was sold in our region (Australia and New Zealand) and also domestically in Japan.

^cost probably. not in the budget for NA.

As for what I did today (or the other day) I lubed up the trunk hinge hardware. they're starting to creak like a haunted house like my first 2021 ES did. I guess the lube they use at manufacturing lasts about 6-8 months then haunted house time.

Where the two rods cross in the middle, or on the sides as well? And, what's the most appropriate grease?

as for the trunk rods, everywhere. all rub/contact points of all the hinges/pivot/metal hardware. i just use spray lithium grease. no odor (at least in the amounts i used it in). i'm not sure if it's "correct" but it seems to work. probably a better grease would be the thicker stuff that's brown/gold in color. like the factory uses, just more of it. i have axle grease but it smells bad.

Thanks to many folks in this forum and ideas on this thread, I made a few improvements on my 2022:
1. Illuminated Trunk Sil (OEM)
2. Tire Caps (
Amazon Link Amazon Link
)
3. Metal Garnish Trims for locks, vents, and the center console (ebay)
4. Door Projectors (Aliexpress)

Now just need to get F Sport Pedals, Camera Cover and possibly Noise Reduction Rims (but I probably wont since I have dent and rim coverage)
