***What did you do to your ES today?***

Disagree. While I personally wouldn't do it, this strikes me as an unnecessary slam at the poster's personal taste. This thread is supposed to be all about personalization. The poster expended money and effort to do this, and he didn't hurt anybody. I'm glad he enjoys the fruits of his work.

So long shot.. an ES is not something an 18 year old typically drives. Is this a shared car with a family member perhaps? I'm guessing they'll notice the green lights

Whatever floats your boat - there was one poster a while back that was pasting stickers on the interior. Hey - i used to clothespin baseball cards to my bicycle spokes to make it sound like a Mustang GT

You're surely right about whatever floats your boat... that includes having an opinion and standards too. =) I used to put soda cans in my bicycle so it hits the spokes... sounds better than paper. oh to be 11 again

Right. Trust me man in 10-20 years you're going to go yeah... what was I thinking installing green alien lights on a 50k car? that was embarrassing.

This is the first time I've heard someone criticized for "going green"

Today I finished the 2nd ceramic coat using Griot's Garage products. It took 10 hours total:
3 hrs wash
3 hrs clay bar
4 hrs ceramic coat (= 2 x 2 hrs)
The car is spotless, and looks amazing. We'll see how it holds up. Griot's admits it's not as good as a professional ceramic treatment, but looks good to me. Probably easiest to do on the Eminent White color, because it doesn't show streaks - not that there are any...

Trust me, this isn't the first time I'm hearing that the green doesn't look good, but I already have green interior ambient lights and green trunk lights, so decided to add some more "greenery" to the car. Also, just do what you want to do with your car, because it's your car after all 🙃
Only HanzlaKhan will know that if green everything was stupid or not later in life. However, I certainly am hoping that he does not rice out the car and become some poser. Coffee can exhaust, camber wheels, fake stick on air vents, countless amounts of air diffusers, racing stripes, gaudy racing wing, etc.
