also before the tint dries, personally, i'd take a microfiber and my finger and run it around the dot matrix around the back quarter windows to press out the air outline

Too late/ It's dried already/ Thanks for the tip though. PPF pics? haha How? It's nearly invisible. lol

how do you get the car inspected with illegal tint both on the front windshield and front door windows? With the new laws in place in Texas with us now having to get our registration and inspection all at the same time it’s becoming much harder to find a shop that will pass illegal window tint.

Not required here anymore. It's been a couple of years.

Inspected battery fan filter. June 2021 build, 12,500 miles. Filter looked clean to me, but then it's also black. I vacuumed it anyway. Looked at the fan blades, seemed to have a super light coating of dust. I should've cleaned it, but it was cold and wet outside and just wanted to get back indoors. So maybe next time around.

Like my feeling on pickup trucks - it's just not my thing, but I can certainly appreciate it. Pretty cool
Looks like a gorgeous neighborhood, too!

Replaced wiper blade refill inserts with some highly rated amazon generics. $9.99.

For anyone wondering, the sizes are 26mm and 18mm, 8.5mm width.

I also, for fun, purchased entire aftermarket blade/bracket assemblies (all in one) for $20 for the pair. also highly rated. i'll see how they look and use them instead if they are decent looking/fitting. i bought a backup plan incase the inserts didn't work or fit. but they seem to fit and work just fine.

Stock blades from June 2021 were fine, just a tad streaky. So i think they are starting to dry out despite being only 1.5 years old.

I used to buy Bosch icons for $50 for the pair, entire assemblies. but lately i've been doing the cheapy refill way. it doesn't rain much here so.

If I recall my years in CA correctly, you should be able to test those new wipers in about 10 months 🤣

But seriously, very curious about the Amazon wipers.

In my experience, OEM wipers are the Best.

Yeah I dunno my "OEM" wipers were streaking pretty badly (saw stains my windshield where it wasn't wiping) and only has 12,500 miles/1.5 years. anyway replaced with some "OEM quality" replacements and they're perfect. i posted about it on my blog link below.

Last time I asked about it, wipers were $14 ea CAD at the Lexus dealer... good enough for me. What's that, $11 US... if they work they work.

i think for $11 ea., you are talking blade refills. i'm talking the whole assembly, bosch icon etc. usually $50 a pair. OE"M" i saw around $46 for the pair. most people won't go through the hassle of breaking down the blade and playing with the metal strips etc. they just want to un clip and clip. these are my complete assemblies for $17 for BOTH. not each. they clip in very securely. reassuring snap. great fit.

old left, new right.

Also interestingly enough, the camry uses a 2" larger blade on the passenger side.
