hi anyone know how to disable anc control?
i just installed subwoofer on my es 350 f sports
seems anc off if window roll down.
but anc activate window roll up
let me know

Good luck, I also installed subwoofers in my vehicle and called about a dozen local audio shops asking if they knew how to disable it, no luck at all. I did find that if you tap the tilt up sunroof button 2 or 3 times it will disable the anc without actually opening the sunroof, hope that helps.

but theres no ANC on off control
just need HOLD MENU AND ON AND OFF 5 TIMES HEADLIGHT SWICH.

I went lexus dealer today .
ask them turn off active noise control.
but they can not do it.they did with safe mode but this back on normal mode.
tap the sunroof botton .is only way. Unless we found where the ANC UNIT.
like honda accord.just disconect from. ANC. unit.very eazy.
but not for es

Can someone describe what Active Noise Control is and confirm it is not the same thing as Active Sound Control?

I am on the path to becoming a first time es350 owner and do not want a vehicle that pumps in or artificially enhances the sound of the engine.

I am all about a quiet ride.

Active sound controll= intake noise get louder only for 2.0 turbo engine
Active noise cotroll =. Road noise to reduce to subwoofer make white noise( bad for aftermarket subwoofer)
If your car f sports has both
your car not f sports has active noise controll .

Active noise control is pretty the same thing as noice cancelling headphones.

I thought that the F Sport has a feature that adds noise (simulated engine sound) rather than deletes noise.

As previously mentioned by Seankim513 the F-sport has both ANC and ASC. ANC is active between idle and 3k rpm. After 3k rpm ANC is deactivated and activates ASC all the way till your heart is content.
