Shifter boot became disconnected from shifter today not sure how or why. Dealer is not sure what has to be replaced and is looking into it.

Does anyone know how to remove the actual shifter **** head from the stick.

 

Gotta take it easy on the shifts while off-roading lol

 

Not exactly the same, but this happened to my 2018 and I just snapped it back into position and it hasn't happened again - I'm thinking it just wasn't installed correctly.
