Default Winter Tires and TPMS

Hi everyone, I am a new member here and new owner of ES350. For those of you who use winter tires, I was wondering what my options are for swapping tires and resetting the TPMS? There are some discussions in the IS forum and it appears older versions of IS allow you to input two sets of tire pressure while the newer ones only allow for one set of measurements. I am curious if that also applies to the 2019 ES?

I would like to know what if I were to buy a set of winter with wheels and TPMS installed, can I swap it out myself every season? Will the TPMS need be reset after each swap? can the TPMS be reset manually or only at a shop? Lastly, is there a way to disable to TPMS if i were to purchase a set of winter wheels with no TPMS?

Thanks in advance.

If you get TPMS for your winter rims/tires, make sure they are "cloneable". Any good tire shop (ask before committing to buy) can provide them, then "read" your original sensors and "clone" the replacements so that your vehicle can sense them without needing to go to the dealer to be reprogrammed (which you'd have to have done twice/year otherwise). Then all you need do is switch out your rims/tires, press the reset button up under the dash as per the instructions in your manual and you should be good to go. The other option (and about $200-$250 cheaper) is to not bother with TPMS sensors on the winter rims and just learn to ignore the orange warning light that'll come up on your dash.
