Default Adding power folding mirrors

Bought a 2019 ES 350 premium + nav and was disappointed to find out the side view mirrors don't fold automatically. Can this function be added? Would I need new mirrors too or is it just wiring?

I asked two dealers. They wouldn’t entertain the notion of adding them. Not sure if the 19s are wired or not. I’d love to add them.

Sorry. You mean bury the Asian version of the mirrors and they will install?

Right after I bought my 2019 UL 350 my daughter bought an NX. The NX has folding mirrors... Figure that out. Cost about $10k less than my car without folding mirrors. I don't get it...

My 2014 Hyundai Azera had them. I don't really miss them though - not sure what they accomplish unless you park in really tight spots.

Yes, but you need to open the door panel and see if the wire hanging there. the pic below from the American manual mean there is a big change you can

I bought the basic Lexus es350 2019 known as Lexus prime in the gulf, it doesn’t have most of the options but does come with standard folding mirrors. Every time I switch of the car they close and on opening the car they open up automatically. Cars over here are received from Japan so there might be some variation but you would think that power mirrors would be pretty much standard

Thank you. I would I will follow up with this. I would love to see if there is any option, including ordering the mirrors from Japan.

I read that Canadian 2020 ES will have folding mirrors, so let’s wait and see.

The '20 F Sport doesn't seem to have it, still! (at $52,600 and then some!)

I'm going to work with my dealer and see what's involved to add the function to my 2019. Hoping it's just a switch and cables vs completely new mirrors.
