Default Phone holder / mount for 2019 ES 350?

Hi All,

I'm trying to find a phone holder / mount for my iPhone 8 that will:

1) Allow the door over the USB jacks to be open or closed.

2) Not cover any dash buttons or indicator screens.

3) Not lose any cup holders (as there are only two in first place!!).

4) Be in a relatively easy position to be seen (obviously!).

Any suggestions? Thanks!

I'm curious why do you need to see your phone? Since you have an iPhone I'm assuming you're using Carplay.

I've been less than thrilled with some aspects of Apple Carplay (especially the Amazon Music HD interface) but you you may have a valid point. I should probably try to use and explore Apple Carplay further and I hope that I find needing a mount will not be necessary. Thanks.

I did a search this forum (Phone holder / mount for 2019 ES 350) before starting this thread but almost nothing showed up. I thought that was rather strange!

Probably because most iPhone fans use Carplay and Android users (like me) have no real need to look at the phone while driving. The call and text features work flawlessly hands free and that's all I really need while driving.

Probably.

Now if I can just get that USB extension cable fully hidden!

I wouldn't go quite that far. I favor the Apple ecosystem but I don't have any need to fiddle with my iPhone while driving either. I am not a big fan of "cabled" CarPlay as it is a bit cumbersome and it just doesn't provide anything that I personally need. As you said, the call and text work fine through hands free during driving and that is all I really need while driving as well. I'm sure we all have widely different needs and this will vary, I just wouldn't say "most iPhone fans use CarPlay" as I believe that may be an overgeneralization.

Those who drive for Uber or Lyft would need a phone mount. Pro Clip makes specific mounts for each make and model of car.
