Lexus ES 350--2019 Apple CarPlay specs say Compatible. 2020 Specs say CarPlay Integrated. What is the difference. Is the integrated wireless bluetooth?

I think it means it comes standard for 2020 instead of a option.Not for sure though.

It is “standard” on the 2019s as well. I imagine it is just tweaking the term for marketing clarity.

I thought the first few 2019 cars that came off the lot couldn't do Apple CarPlay. It was available starting in Oct 2019 and required some update to those early cars (pre-Oct sales). So the marketing for 2019 was "compatible" since all the marketing materials are created early on. That's my thinking, at least.

No, I think you may be mixing them up. We have been hearing Android Auto will be available starting with October 2019 production. I believe CarPlay has been available throughout the 2019 production. My ES was built in February of 2019 and it came with CarPlay.
