2019 ES300h has a factory installed sticker near the SOS button. It indicates that "Your vehicle wirelessly transmits location, driving and vehicle health data to deliver your services and for internal research and data analysis". I followed the instructions to disable, and pressed the vehicle SOS button. The SOS person, who was a 3rd party vendor in Irving Texas, and after a lengthy research knew nothing about disabling this. Has anyone disabled data transmission? I don't want another lengthy phone call to Lexus/ Toyota to find the same ~ I don't have any idea what you are talking about answer.

 

I never saw this sticker on my 2019 ES 350. I'll be curious as to what other members have found out regarding this. One guess is that the data sent by this is shown on your enform account such as driving habits, windows up or down, doors locked, fuel level, etc... Don't know anything about disabling it.

 

All of the stickers and labels were removed by the dealership from my vehicle before driving away, except those pesky airbag warning stickers on the sun visors. Has anyone had any success removing them without damaging the visor?

 

Easier to cover them with custom labels. From our ES and RC.

Did you just peel it off starting in one corner? Did you use a hair dryer?

 

Mine came off fairly easily by starting in the corner.
